Blank Direct Thermal Labels – Made in Australia

High-quality blank direct thermal labels manufactured in Australia for reliable barcode, shipping, inventory, product and general-purpose labelling.

Direct thermal labels print using heat from the printer's printhead, so no thermal transfer ribbon is required. Simply load the roll into a compatible direct thermal label printer and print.

Available in a range of sizes, roll configurations and colours to suit desktop and industrial label printers.

What are Direct Thermal labels?

Direct thermal labels use a heat-sensitive paper stock that reacts to heat from the thermal printhead to create the printed image. Because the image is produced directly on the label surface, no ink, toner or thermal transfer ribbon is required.

Do I need a thermal transfer ribbon?

No. These are Direct Thermal (DT) labels and are designed to print without a ribbon. Your printer must support direct thermal printing.

What is the difference between a 38mm and 76mm core?

38mm Core – Desktop Printers:
Designed primarily for compact desktop label printers. These rolls contain fewer labels and have a smaller overall roll diameter, making them suitable for printers with limited internal roll capacity.

76mm Core – Industrial Printers:
Designed primarily for larger industrial and commercial label printers. The larger core allows substantially more labels per roll, reducing roll changes in higher-volume printing applications.

Which core size should I choose?

Choose the roll configuration that suits your printer:

  • 38mm core: Best suited to desktop thermal label printers.
  • 76mm core: Best suited to industrial thermal label printers and higher-volume applications.

If you are unsure which roll will fit your printer, contact the Label Power team and we can help confirm compatibility.
