Labelling Secrets 8

June 2004

Welcome

With the financial year coming to a close, this edition offers some real bargains and the opportunity to use up some of that surplus budget.

We have smiles all round as Label Power brings home another print award and I shake off my jetlag after a whirlwind tour of European label makers and Drupa, the world 's biggest printing show. Visiting some of the best label printers in 4 different countries; I researched new manufacturing techniques and will be looking to implement these at Label Power to provide extra value to our customers.

In this issue we launch our new range of quality business cards at killer prices and highlight "dangerous goods" labels as our product of the month. We also have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the Label Power team.

If your co-workers or associates have not subscribed to Labelling Secrets, not only are they missing out on the latest information but they could also miss out on great prizes. Subscribe them now.

Hope you enjoy the read and as always I welcome your comments and feedback.

Labels done to a "Tea"

Following our success reported in the last edition of 'Labelling Secrets', Label Power has scooped yet another accolade at the recent LATMA ( Label and Tag Manufacturers Association ) printing awards.

Working closely with Madura Tea to create a new label that would achieve maximum impact on the supermarket shelves, Label Power produced a stunning 7 colour label printed on a gold foil.

The label quality, design and complexity of printing wowed the judges at the National Printing Laboratory at Monash University, Melbourne. Picking up the silver award (Labels Flexography Colour Process category) at the gala evening in Sydney, James Malone said "everyone at Label Power and Madura Tea were delighted with this label, it's a really good example of high end quality printing".

Madura Tea Estates Marketing & Public Relations Manager Ray Fein offered his congratulations and suggested "a nice cuppa" for all those involved.

If you have a new product label or branding project you need assistance with, why not talk to James Malone for some award winning advice.
