The LABELMATE S-100 & S-200 low-cost Label Slitters, are intended to be used with the LABELMATE CAT-2 Label Rewinders and the UCAT Label Unwinders.

The S-100 & S-200 Slitters require no power. Label movement is provided by the CAT-2 Rewinder. The Slitter can be used in either an "on-line" mode or an "off-line" mode. In "on-line use", the Slitter is positioned between the printer output and the CAT-2 Rewinder. The speed is determined by the printer output speed. In "off-line" use, the Slitter is positioned between a UCAT Unwinder and a CAT-2 Rewinder or between two CAT-2 Rewinders, in which case one of the rewinders is used as an unwinder. In this configuration, speeds up to 75 cm/sec are possible.

The S-100 allows rolls up to 16cm width. As standard, two blades holders are provided allowing you to slit rolls into three separate rolls. Up to four or more blade holders can be fitted.

The S-200 allows rolls up to 23 cm width. As standard, three blades holders are provided allowing you to slit rolls into four separate rolls. Up to five or more blade holders can be fitted.

Complete blade holder subassemblies can be changed quickly, allowing use of pre-adjusted subassemblies for different slitting jobs. During the slitting operation, the blades are stabilized with a proprietary system, giving a clean cut at all speeds.

The easily replaced slitting blades can be used over most of their length, extending their useful life. The LABELMATE S-100 & S-200 Slitters greatly increase your printer efficiency when producing small labels, and also allows use of the full width of the printer head, giving optimum performance and better performance and better ribbon usage.
